I'm against the war, though I'm a libertarian rather than a liberal, but I see an extreme bias in favor of the anti-war movement (even though I agree with the movement in principle). Moreover, many of the propositions are utterly irrelevant to foreign policy. I also don't like quizzes that just ask me whether I am liberal, conservative or moderate. I'm none of those. I'm libertarian. I always have to call myself a moderate because I am in the "middle" of the meaningless left-right spectrum, but I'm not a moderate. Someone who would legalize marijuana, abolish the minimum wage, abolish the death penalty and privatize the post office could hardly be called a moderate. Well, those are my views, yet I'm forced to call myself "moderate". My complaints aside, it is most important that you ask fair questions of hawks if you really want to understand their attitudes.
