Will Obama be re-elected?

Personally, I think Obama is the biggest mistake this country has seen in the Oval Office. Jimmy Carter should feel a sigh of relief. I certainly do not want to see Obama at the helm of this country for another four years, but I have serious doubts as to whether or not he can be defeated for two reasons: There may not be a viable Republican candidate that can muster enough votes to win, and I do not have enough confidence in my fellow Americans to wake up and vote this nightmare out of office.

What do you think of Obama's chances at being re-elected?

Based upon the current crop of ass hats trying for the GOP nomination I think Obama gets back in. Of course, should he really screw up in some fabulous way (which I doubt) or someone who is not a total ass hat gets in the race my opinion is subject to change. But as of today he should win quite easily.

There is no candidate the GOP and American Right can support. It's a very weak field of candidates, and has been for some time. The far, far-right movement makes candidates like Huntsman or Romney unlikely; despite the fact that they're moderate enough to actually challenge Obama and his billion-dollar campaign.

They'll probably put up some idiot like Herman 'I discriminate based on religion' Cain and lose in a similar fashion.

One reason Obama will probably get reelected:

The right-wing leadership actually likes him and exerts tremendous control over his administration even though they pretend not to.

Obama has...

1. Heavily increased defense spending
2. Been very supportive of the oil industry (even in the face of environmental disasters)
3. Has not closed Guantanamo and turned a blind eye to torture/renditions
4. Started another profitable war with an oil producing Arab country

What might derail his reelection is his clear lack of support for Israel. It is so bad that Netanyahu is able to openly smack Obama down and send him home with his tail between his legs. AIPAC will likely influence the right wingers and they may pull the plug on Obama as a result.

Dead men have only won office a few times in America. So I don't think he will be able to win again.

Someone is going to take a poke at this guy. I'm surprised they havent yet.
When it does happen, I wont shed a tear as he is a tyrant and a traitor.

Being dead though he will still be able to vote. That (*)(*)(*)(*) happens all the time.

Or maybe you were wanting to make them aware that dead people vote in this country?

Maybe, I voted for him in 2008 as an Independent and so far he's been a bust - though better than the alternative, which isn't saying much. I don't want more of him but I don't want anything the Republicans are pushing either. So I guess I'm just up (*)(*)(*)(*) creek without a paddle.
