I would have to say our neo-capitalist consumer culture dependant on unreplenishable resources. I dont know if this will lead to an apocalypse that will kill everyone, but it sure will destroy "humanity" as we know it.

Who knows? I'm going to say that we'll be replaced by the next rung on the evolutionary ladder, just as we replaced the homo erectus, homo habilus, and other extinct species.

I think I saw this on Discovery Channel. But if I saw this on Sci-fi, you all know I'm wrong. But I saw this about 2 years ago. Well, here I go.
