By Pandering to Hispanics, is the GOP alienating its white base?

Please help me understand why I shouldn't feel this way. My county is "only" about 25% Hispanic (Mexican), yet the crime blotter in my local newspaper reads like a Guadalajara phone book. Not only that, the Mexicans also seem to be committing the most heinous crimes, like Murder, Rape, and Drug Trafficking.

Look at the Most Wanted list in my county, 8 of 10 Most Wanted are clearly Hispanic (Mexicans):

8 of 10!!!!!

From my understanding most of the crime from Hispanics are illegals and their children. This is why I am against illegal immigration and do not support amnesty. There are no illegals in my family lineage. When you flood our borders with impoverished people these things happen. The real criminals are in DC.

How can you say that? Isn't that the kind of "sweeping generalization" that makes folks like you uncomfortable? I have heard the opposite as well, that the newcomer "wetback" is the most honest, hard working person you will ever meet, but that the second and third generation Mexicans are the lazy/criminal ones.

BTW, Illinois is a officially a sanctuary state, so a vast number of the Mexicans living here are illegal. I would estimate 1/3 to 1/2 of all Mexicans in Illinois are either illegal or born to illegals.

Only extremely naive people can believe that Latinos will sometimes vote for GOP which loses more and more white voters.

Didn't vote because I'm not a Republican or an Hispanic. Can't see why people would think GOP is pandering to Hispanics. It seems to me that in general they are doing things which annoy them. GOP shouldn't expect a very high percentage of votes from them given that fact.

if 40% of the Jewish American vote goes GOP in 12 ,THEN it's safe to say the same ammount of Latino Vote will once again vote GOP also
