God make "Primates" to play the "human role" in the animal kingdom (in my own opinion, no research done). He made them like humans, not the other way around.
I should have quoted his post. Evolution and belief in God are not related. Evolution is evidence based and God is faith based.

Some religions believe that God creates and controls evolutionary processes. So that things turn out the way God wants them to, without a way to "skew" the results into something else.

Maybe that's what God has to do with it?

Me: I think in the Bible it also originally mentioned that God proclaimed "Ta-daaa" afterward, but I think it got lost in the English translation.

No, he didnt use Jazz Hands.

Also this isn't a poll for what you "know as fact" its more an opinion which is a continuation of the first evolution poll.
who is this connection up in the air with?

Didn't the Bible also say that God put the sun and the stars in the sky revolving around the Earth? I guess NASA's all one big secularist conspiracy. Humans are descended from primates. We are ourselves primates. There's evidence enough in the fossil record, and in our DNA, to back up this claim. As for the claim that we were created presto-chango out of clay thrown into an Easy-Bake Oven, there is no evidence other than a badly re-translated book of old myths from desert people.

Even people who believe in evolution seem to get some things wrong. Ever notice when you read a pop-science article on evolutionary properties of some creature it's always worded like "It evolved feet so that it could walk on land." This will be followed with "We can't figure out why it evolved a tail stub."
Creatures do not evolve to do things. Things evolve that allow creatures to do things.

If pop-science can't get stuff right, why do we expect creationists to get it?

I'm not sure that I've ever read anything to the effect of "We can't figure out why it evolved a tail stub" in a science article... but then I don't read much "pop-science" literature. Even the densest of evolutionists understands (I hope) that vestigial body parts are artifacts from our ancestors.
