Hate to burst your bubble but democrats hate truth as well. Both parties are corrupt. It is actually A ONE PARTY SYSTEM disguised to look like a two party system so the sheople think they have a choice in voting for the republicrats or demopublicans.
five 9/11 official conspiracy theory apologists on ignore.Reason? they lie when they are defeated and wont look at the evidence.

when I was a second year college student I came to the conclusion that ignorance is bliss because the truth's true nature is that of pain.

I don't think people *in general* hate the truth. I think people who choose to live in denial about what's happening around them in order to avoid discomfort are the ones who hate the truth, and that isn't people *in general*. The majority of people don't have the luxury of denial because reality is up close and personal for them - income inequality, job insecurity, etc.

Most people are too busy working for a living to know what the truth is.

The truth is that the Democrats are so generous to those in need will bankrupt our country so that nobody will have anything above a third world country.
    There is no Allah.
Mohammed, like Joseph Smith, invented a religion so they could legitimize their sexual appetites.

None and all of the above. In the future add an "other" option on your poll.

Truth is in many ways subjective. A Christians view of truth will in some ways differ from a Buddhist view of truth. Many times in life I have been at odds with another person and left banging my head against the wall asking "why can they not see the truth"? In many cases it is because we are all guided by a different moral compass. My Father keeps on trying to make me understand that many people in society look down on men with long hair, which I do understand. And I keep trying to get him to see that I do not give a (*)(*)(*)(*), because to judge someone based singularly upon the superficial is shallow. His truth and my truth collide because we are guided by a very different moral compass.
-truth is subjected to the prism of which we view it-

Their dogma gets in the way.

Vishnu is not the same GOD as the GOD of Abraham and so on, etc......people pray to many different GODs. so your statement is inaccurate and not truth at all.

So were you lying to make a point?

    That's my point.
how Ironic was that - lol

it is the same god, so which answer to the poll would you choose?

belief is what is important, not so much what you believe, for instance, an ordinary sugar pill without belief helps no one, but with belief it can cure your ills and it can be quite the amazing little pill - the magic really comes from within

The first choice is close. And to add, it goes againts most people's idology and ignorance.

Easy question, unless you're a conpsircacy loon. 1st People prefer a comfortable lie to an unpleasant truth.
2nd people want a reality that makes some sort of sense however twisted. That's why conspiracy fables are so popular. They give you some one to blame for watever is wrong with your life other than you.

Because people are raised to believe certain things and it is hard for these people to see differently than the things they were raised to believe. Not impossible, but difficult.

There is no single truth in any event. People see everything through their distinct world view and reject that which does not fit.
