Yes, I'd like to think it will.
Yes, even if it doesn't, I'm an optimist.

belief is what is important, not so much what you believe, for instance, an ordinary sugar pill without belief helps no one, but with belief it can cure your ills and it can be quite the amazing little pill - the magic really comes from within

"If Republicans wanted to Destroy America, they would Vote Democrat."

Oh I know that voting doesn't mean dick. They let us vote every four years so we can tell ourselves that we have "liberties". Even then, our votes get filtered by the electoral college. And if you live in a big state, you're vote for Senator counts about 1/10,000 of a vote in So. Carolina (for example) if, as you say, it gets counted at all. Still, if there's a Republican vote loose in my state that might see the light of day, I want to make sure I've cancelled it out.
There are ATMs all over the place. Turn off the money for a day and make them voting booths. The tech exists and chances are that they are closer than the place you have to go to vote.

Even though I live in Mexico and voting has been a hassle I still vote. For me, it's a repsonsibility. I'm not so responsible I vote more than once or plan on voting after I'm dead, though. That would be liberals. So, I'll vote again this year. I see it less as Republican and Democrat than I do capitalist and socialist.
Yes, your vote does not count so please do me a favor and don't vote anymore. (Bwahahaha! The more people I can convince the more powerful I will become!)
"Men fear thought as they fear nothing else on earth -- more than ruin -- more even than death.... Thought is subversive and revolutionary, destructive and terrible, thought is merciless to privilege, established institutions, and comfortable habit. Thought looks into the pit of hell and is not afraid. Thought is great and swift and free, the light of the world, and the chief glory of man." - Bertrand Russell
