Thread: Thoughts on rats

  1. Default Thoughts on rats

I'm just curious what other people think on this subject. The term is rats, or informers or whistle-blowers...what is your opinion. The reason I ask is because I get "reported" fairly often for hurting someone's itty-bitty feelings. It doesn't matter that they are little whiners, babies in size 42 jackets, they are still babies. They run as fast as their fingers can take them to cry to the mods, who always side with the whiners. Sure, rules are to be followed, but this is the internet, a free-speech area, not a business in which you walk physically through a front door...it's cyber-space. I personally find "rats" disgusting. What is your opinion?

What is going to be fun is to see if the moderators remove this thread, or are big enough to let it stand.

The people who use the terms rats, informers, snitches, and so forth are scum like union thugs, bullies, and punks. You know, criminals and scum.

Would your post qualify you as a little whiner in a size 42 jacket? And, read the Constitution and learn about free speeh.

Free speech does not extend to private places/businesses. This site is the private property of someone that isn't you, which means they have every right to regulate what you say or remove you.

As for mods being "big" enough, getting rid of this thread - while something I disagree with - doesn't make them small. This thread is a grown man (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)ing about being (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)ed at. The small person isn't the mods, it's you.

I get the impression you're whining like a little baby in a size 42 jacket because the "rats" hurt your itty-bitty feelings.

    This.

Moderators don't respond to reports unless you have broken the sites rules. I have been reported, I had broken the sites rules, I attempted to change my behavior and since then I haven't had the moderators on my back.

Frankly, I don't care who reports me- and I am comfortable reporting when it seems appropriate- examples were a guy who recommended that families should get killed, abuse of the system to slip in offensive words past the filters, and examples that I thought were racially offensive flamebait.

If you think about it- who benefits the most by convincing people not to report?

Those who like to break the sites rules.

I think that people should attempt decorum because this is "someone else's house". I've donated, but I don't pay a daily fee. This is someone else's home and they are allowing me entry with the ability to discuss issues I find interesting.

Would you make fun of people and disparage someone if invited to a friend's house for dinner, in other words, would you insult his other guests?

    If yes, keep on.

    If no, (*)(*)(*)(*).

I was in someone else's home for a book signing by a local author and another guest started loudly stalking about the "(*)(*)(*)(*)ing jews" and "Bush and the (*)(*)(*)(*)ing jews". Most people were quiet. I wasn't. I, gasp, insulted him.

Good for you. Staying quiet and doing exactly as they were told is what got 6 million of them killed. It must be generational. I was taught to never rat on someone unless it was life threatening. Words in a Forum threaten no one. For example, our socialist friend TheGreatAmericanThinker has in every post swear words that are censored-out...and he insults people all the time. Well, I consider the source and let it roll off my back. Knowing how he responds, I fully expect some insult to follow from him for this Post. BFD however, because I don't really care, yet it is conservatives who are called cry babies when it is the liberals turning everyone in. Odd how that works.
