There are no patten on italian restraunts or french fries, and that is just about the only european thing we have in the USA. Learn to eat rice with a chopstick, as the USA has more trade with china and other parts of asia and south america.

Namely OIL. We sell it to the Chinese and buy it from South America.
In 2011, products worth over 73 billion euros were exported to the USA from Germany alone. This means that the USA are still the second largest importer for Germany after France. Ever heard of Volkswagen, BMW, Deutsche Telekom, BASF, E.ON or Siemens? All German companies. And this is just Germany I'm talking about here. So please don't tell me that there is no real trade between the USA and EU because that's simply not true.

I will not support helping the French again. Having the French for an ally is like having a hooker for a girlfriend. Well, the hooker might be nice but other than that they're the same.

I've seen other postings here by you and I have generally agreed with you on them, but Mr. Bender here is absolutely right here in stating that the Muslims are slowly or quickly moving in to take over Europe. The old European guard seems to be useless in allowing Sharia Law to consume your society and make mincemeat out of your centuries long traditions. C-mon Tim, learn to see the crumbling of Europe. You may want to start by looking at Greece.

Yes, there is, Cornelis, and it's a shame you're not bright enough to find it. It's also a shame your are too embarrassed to tell us where you live. It's not in your profile. Let me guess. Cambodia? Cuba? France?

I have no idea how the fear of "islamisation" could have become so great. According to Wikipedia, which admittedly is not the most scientific source, the number of Muslims in the USA reads 2.6 million in 2010. That is a whole whopping 0.8% of the entire population (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islam_in_the_United_States). As far as the EU is concerned: in 2007 there were 16 million muslims which translates to 3.2% of the entire population (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islam_in_Europe).

Now tell me: how can a group of people not even supplying 5% to the entire population completely change the culture a nation? Simple, it can't. The whole "islamisation" thing is nothing more than an alarmist, populistic argument which stems from prejudice, misunderstandings and hysteria.

Europa has not any chance to survive without USA, that's my point.
