Thread: Vote: is prostitution acceptable or unacceptable?

Our bodies are the ones that demand money, we don't. Actually it is our bodies that demand food and a room, we don't. So it is probably fair that we put our bodies to work to make that money. In the school, we put our brains to work (in speculation for future profits). At a workbench/shop we work our hands. So, why not, we can put our entire body shapes to work too, if we can get paid for it. This is my humble opinion, but ... most people in the world would call my work hours dirty for that. So, discounting pimping (which is squarely criminal always), what would be the opinion statistics here at Political Forum? And why is using your shape a crime by enacted legislation whereas using your hand/had is not?

As long as the Prostitution is willing, not made under duress, regulated so that medical precautions are taken and the spread of disease is eliminated then I do not see why it would be outlawed.

Child prostitution is never acceptable regardless of "consent" or not.

Forced prostitution is a form of slavery and is therefore never acceptable.

Considering how prolific prostitution has been since...forever, it just seems that criminalizing it is a waste of time and money.

I'm actually shocked and can't believe how most of you people actually voted a yes! How sad, how immoral, how pathetic, how selfish, how disgusting, I feel ashamed! Is this the kind of society I live in, (*)(*)(*)(*) them, I'll be looking forward to a WW3.

What kind of society do we live in? How can you vote for a yes because it's their right/freedom and as long as it doesn't harm or affect us we should allow them to do what they want to do? Screw your liberty and so called freedom.

Should we allow teenagers to consume drugs such as heroin because it doesn't affect us and is their right? Well if you think, bad drugs like heroin ruin health and lives and by preventing such drugs such as banning them or at least opening social awareness programs we are helping them and doing more good than bad!

How can you people agree with prostitution? The only way you people can ever learn is if your loved one or friend gets aid from mating with a prostitute and dies or even better your own daughter joins the prostitutes, only then you will know how it feels like and will be beggining to re-edit your votes to a no.

Most women who are prostitutes are doing it for the money and are forced due to current social and economical circumstances but by you pathetic people going there you are encouraging the pathetic low life business of prostitution and doing more bad than good. There are better ways to make 'money' by attending education and finding a good profession.

Prostitution is like raping a woman but in a more mentally and Physcological pretext.... You are putting them down, (*)(*)(*)(*) u all who voted yes. I will have no remorse.

Haven’t ever bought the services but know plenty of people who have. It’s none of your business what two consenting “ADULTS” do, and it the very essence of liberty and freedom for them to have the choice you would so willingly take away. You should be ashamed of yourself.


And no I wouldn’t want my “adult” daughter to make such a choice, but if she is an adult there is very little power to control that situation. I can only hope she has a better head on her shoulder’s and other opportunities available.

One of the 'consenting' adults is usually extremely poor or in need of drugs, and usually both, and comes from a background where she was abused, exploited and treated as rubbish, as you know.. Consent my articulate anus!
