These biological and chemical weapons, which I take it you didn't bother to watch the video with all the distruction and testimonies of the Iraqi Kurds on whom the weapons were used, are deadly even in the state that we found them!

I quoted a link from 2005 because Saddam's army casualties ended around 2003 when they were destroyed. Did I blame anyone for anyone else's actions? Think about that. No one gets the blunt end of a few power-bent marines who torture against orders. I present it, if you hate me for it then go on hating; that's a reason we have wars. We already know what happens on the other side. Would you be willing to bet this could have been solved peacefully? I would. It can still be solved peacefully. Why can't people see this? THERE IS ALWAYS A PEACEFUL ALTERNATIVE MEANS. ALWAYS. We just need to think about it more. This argument between you and I would never have happened, if our government would have been wise enough to keep our military out of the situation. Don't give me your typical pro-war bullsh!t and say I'm a disgrace when I stand up for my beliefs. I'm more grateful than you can imagine that I have the right to disagree with single minded servicemen led by political and high ranking war mongrels. We didn't ever have a right to go there and you know it. You know you talk about chances to 'rip out spines' even though it's an exaggeration. You know marines like to fight, everyone knows this. That sort of dialogue doesn't work on me. And yes, our next presidential candidate, McCain, has already said Iraq should be an indefinite militaristic asset ('100 years').

Well even if McCain is elected, I doubt he'll be alive 100 years from now let alone still be president. So I don't think it will be his sole decision. That being said, maybe FDR or Truman can get us a date for withdrawal from Japan and Germany.

Yeah but that was Spanish-American War, 1898. We'd have to wake up William McKinley to get his date for withdrawal.
