Your conclusion clashes with your article- four Democrats knew, and there was "one known objection."
Perhaps Toby they held their tongues, seeing as Bush was so popular/some other reason? You really need to reign in the emotive language, doesn't help your case. Doesn't seem particularily relevant to the discussion in any case. Btw Billybob, just because it isn't the harshest form of torture, doesn't mean it shouldn't be condemned. Its passed a threshold, in the minds of those that oppose it. |

I remember when a dangerous terrorist named Winston Smith was finally caught and some advanced interrogation techniques were used on him. He confessed to willfully contracting syphillis to spread to party members. I'm glad they caught him. By the way, brother, have you heard? Chocolate rations are up. Doubleplusgood!

I voted yes, but imediatley regreted it because in a world in which our interrogators can psycically know for a fact that these guys have info which would save American lives, why would we need torture?

If it were still legal? Yes.

Sport of choice for Soldiers: baseball. 4. Sport of choice for Coast Guardsmen: tennis. 5. Sport of choice for Airmen: golf. Notice how the farther down the list you go, the smaller their balls get. |

Thinking about your response BB, maybe we should stop use of waterboarding, and use bathhouseing.
I think we both would sing like tweety pie! and it would cost less. It may not work in Scotland though the scots dont like any form of water sports Last edited by B L Zeebub; 04-27-2008 at 11:18 PM. Reason: dyslexia |
