Iraq had the 4th largest army in the world prior to Desert Storm.
It doesnt matter how many troops you have, how many tanks you have, how many artillery pieces you have, as was proven in operation Barbarossa what wins battles is Superior Strategy, Superior technology, and superior troop training. In any case Iran has no answer for US air and sea power.

War is about defeating the will to fight of the other side.

It's not body counts and breaking stuff by itself.

Its not a matter of underestimating the enemy. Clearly, we can bomb them from remote and there is absolutely jack they can do about it. Obviously, we could invade and conquer their country in a matter of weeks, easily. It would be like butter to cut through their defenses and destroy anything we want.

Now, occupying the territory is a whole different thing as is trying to civilize savages and build a real democratic government. We all know that seemingly except the liberal islamomoron appeasers.

I'm far from a liberal. I just know our current "tip of the spear" ground forces are being asked to bear the burden of this. Tough rhetoric is one thing, but when the adrenaline wears off, they are tasked with the difficult job of sustaining peace in a combat zone.

The important thing to realize is that they are already fighting us in Iraq and have been committing terrorist murders on our people for decades. Now they are escalating their support for our enemies in Iraq and Afghanistan, arming them, training them, providing sanctuary and respite from the battle, and helping them travel back and forth, in addition to aiding other terror groups calling for the destruction and/or responsible for the murder of Americans. Refusing to recognize this fact will not make it go away. Militarily, Iran is our enemy and must be dealt with in order to prevent another 9/11. These people are terrorists. We must destroy them while we are in the region, if we ever want to be able to get out of the region and let the stupid islamaniacs kill each other over who is more like muhammed the child raping retard conqueror.
