Default individualism vs. collectivism

sorta going off another thread would you consider yourself a collectivist or individualist?
individualist-a social theory advocating the liberty, rights, or independent action of the individual.
collectivist-the political principle of centralized social and economic control, esp. of all means of production.

i understand this is somewhat like socialism vs. capitalism but i want to get really into the philosphy of it as well with this new thread because there are varying degrees of extremity certainly on both sides of the issue.

Well considering I'm an anti-social survivalist who pretty much has trouble getting along with anyone and despises everything about our current society right down to the people jogging on the street and I just want to shoot them like ducks at the carnival...

I'd say individualist.....

I would identify with neither, probably somewhere in between both.

Both. More of an individualist at core, but I see the need for a certain minimal amount of collectivism.

Frankly I think the dichotomy is more a symptom of linguistics than reality. Humans are both individuals and parts of a community by nature.
