Yes... that is if I would allow my hypothetical daughter to date anyone.
If I had a daughter, I'd have to get a shotgun... and possibly a large plot of land to lay to rest all those boys who have only one thing on their mind. Probably best not to have a daughter.

It's not my choice; it's my daughters'.
If for some reason it was my choice, I wouldn't exercise the power. If for some reason I had to exercise the power, it would be based on character, personality, how he treated her, etc. -- not skin color or religion or height or eye color or beer preference. Well, maybe on beer preference.
