I just solved the world’s problems!
Ok now I have your attention! I want you to think about this scenario and consider it very likely to happen, if we don’t blow each other up.
The Great mind of Saryk the Almighty (me). Has just created the perfect robot.This robot can out work, out perform any human. Can think in a complex manner to do anything(awesome AI). I just started manufacturing these en mass. They will replace all but owners of companies. What happens to the human race? We have to become self-efficient. We revolt! We starve to death! We are all on welfare! We reap the benefits! Kick back and drink beer! www.guinness.com Other?

The whole idea behind technological advances is to create enough funding to come up with enough technology to make sub-standard humans (around 90% of the world’s population) obsolete. There is no other reason.
Once that is done, the upper elite will eliminate 90% of the population, so they can live as the undisputed royalty they already are?? Robots will do their bidding without pay, without sick days, without vacations, and without crying about equal rights/pay, or threats about forming a union!
