Default More Drugs

We all saw the poll for legalising marijuana it was pretty one sided. We all no dope is a tame drug and legalising it probable would do more good than harm but what about other drugs? What about drugs that arn't so tame? That cause serious irreversible damage? im talkin cocain, crack, heroin, crystal meth, ice you know the stuff that leads to nightmare killing sprees and so on..

cast your vote and discuss!

Likewise for the issue of marijuana.

If people want to self-destruct by taking marijuana or meth or cocain or heroin or what have you, by all means let them.

Even if there serious drugs that can easily end up harming others?

Like meth that has the potential of blowing up?

I could blow up my house with hundreds of items that are perfectly legal. Should we outlaw those to in the off chance I do blow up my house and hit my neighbor with flying debris as he walks out to get the morning newspaper?

Pot should be legalized and possibly some low-grade hallucinogens like shrooms (though this should probably be restricted to certain areas)

The life-destroying drugs like methamphetamines and cocaine should remain illegal for sale, but use should be decriminalized. That way addiction is treated as a disease rather than a crime. The people who sell the nasty addictive, life-destroying drugs are scum and deserve the sentences they get. You'll be hard-pressed to find anyone of them who is above murder- as their sales tactics are really just an indirect form.
We'll have an easier time catching these scumbags if we stop bugging the potheads and homegrown pot-peddlers.

Im talking about drugs like ice that when you take them you go ape (*)(*)(*)(*) aggro and start attacking people in a violent frenzy. Are drugs like ice okay if people who take it will harm others?

correct me if I am wrong but drugs were legal around the late 1800's and early 1900's ?

We did not have the technology to create the likes of methamphetamines or crack cocaine.
Opium was about as bad as it got.

There's something interesting about comparing long dead times with today.
Your argument is similar to the one claiming primitive tribes were better stewards of the environment. Put to closer scrutiny, they were even less conscious of it than we are- they just lived in smaller populations and did not have the technology we have.

Sure but with very hard drugs its far more common. People on ice in our country often go into a frenzy were they cannot physically stop attacking the people/objects around them so police have to lock them in padded rooms until they punch and kick and scream themselves sober..

The majority of them today weren't around back then.
