I love posts like this, and hate them, because the reek of immense radicalism that can be both laughable and highly annoying... 910,000 civilians killed? Give me a break.

Dropping nuclear bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki? Are you serious? Are you honestly going to bring up the end of World War II to justify a point that the United States is "Pure evil" when in all reality we were fighting a nation that was occupying and subjugating a vast portion of Asia. I don't necessarily condone or condemn the decision to bomb the two cities, but your opinion reflects so much mindless radicalism. From where I'm standing, you're simply one of those people who drones on about how bad something was without knowing the facts behind it... The United States military didn't know what they had there. A lot of people say they didn't know the true potential of the atomic bomb, even after the Trinity test. So to insinuate that an entire nation is "evil" based on the negligence of a few is a grossly close minded thing to do.

The United States didn't invent slavery. We simply carried on what was seen as common. I'm not supporting slavery, but to say that the United States is evil because of that is stupidity. Slavery is surely evil, not the United States.

Evil is a relative, opinionated term. Sure, the United States does some pretty bad things. We've had negligent, incompetent, selfish leaders... But to brand the entire nation evil is just ridiculous.
