A few years ago, I would have said yes.

When the war first started, nothing pissed me off more than watching American celebrities bashing the US while in foreign countries. I believed we needed to show the world a united front, and to keep our differences here at home.

Luckily, as I grew a bit older and hopefully a bit wiser, I pulled away from a certain political party and realized that exercising our rights is the most important part of being an American, regardless of where we are.

Disagreeing and politisizing without context is unamerican!

Just because someone criticizes the government doesn't make them un-american. I'm sure nearly everybody no matter how patriotic has something they don't like.

However there are those who are anti-American, and they will by definition criticize the government.

at this point,
there are probably very few things that are un-American.
we do everything.

but something can be 'American',
but still be bad for the country.
and i believe the ways some people express their disagreements are bad for the country.
its not in the countrys best interest for people to constantly be throwing around accusations like 'stupid' and 'war criminal' and 'worst leader EVER' when referring to the President.
free speech is good.
peaceful protests are good.
exercising our citizens right to disagree with our government is good.
but there should be a respect for the office,
and a higher standard when it comes to making claims about the man holding the office.
America is better served by having a President who isnt referred to as a murderous criminal by some of his own people.
especially when its based on opinion and not fact.

Come one Mas, you can't be serious. I personally think not questioning everything our government does is un-American. How quickly we forget that we are a country founded on questioning our government. Our founding fathers questioned the government so much, that they rebelled against it.
