1) If Americans die as a result of your actions, then you are anti-American.
2) You are only anti-American if Americans die as a result of your actions.
3) Only deaths due to wars you start count.

Okay, my sarcasm isn't working too well. People always tell me I have a strange sense of humor. I should listen to them more often. So, on a serious note...

I don't agree that because your actions result in the death of people of your country, that you are against your country. When Bush started the war in Iraq, it wasn't his intention to kill and injury Americans. He wanted to oust Saddam from power. Therefore, I believe this action was anti-Saddam, not anti-American. Bush would be ecstatic if no deaths or injuries to Americans resulted from the war, hardly anti-American!

On a similar note, I would hardly call the Ayatollah Khomeini anti-Iranian because he sent troop to their deaths in the defense of an invading Iraqi army. His goal wasn't to get those Iranian soldiers killed, but rather to defend his home country.

I don't think Saddam Hussein was anti-Iraq when he invaded Iran or when he invaded Kuwait. In fact, I wouldn't even call him anti-Iraq when he gassed the Kurds. I would call him anti-Kurd.

Osama bin Laden, on the other hand, does intend to injure and kill Americans, so I would consider him anti-American.
