I don't think I am as far right as many might think. But I believe I am further right than that thing said.

Keep in mind this scale goes to extremes.
Most mainstream politicians on the left or right fit somewhere around the middle.

I've seen a site once that put the Democratic primary candidates on it... and only Kucinich and Gravel were significantly far from "center left".

It's also based on attitudes, trying to formulate ideology. A lot of people think that policy determines one's position... but I tend to think not.

Let's pretend I believe in extreme regulations on corporations... but I'm against any kind of welfare. Would that make me any less extreme to the left or right? I don't think that would make me a moderate... It's obviously the thinking behind these viewpoints that puts me into some classification.

I tried to take the politicalcompass.com quiz again even though I think it's biased. I literally could not get through it. Some of the questions I simply could not justify answering given they way they were worded. Some of the questions were complete bull(*)(*)(*)(*) as well. I don't know how anyone who lives in the real world can even finish that thing.

True. I just don't think that test is very valid because of some of the questions.

And I am a bit further right than that test placed me, and I think I am a bit further south than it places me. But ok.
