Then I thought a little more about religion. I thought how pretty much every religion believes that there's some god somewhere, nobodies ever seen, that created everything that we see today.

Then I thought about it a little more. Isn't it pretty nutty that people believe there's some long haired hippie dude sitting on a cloud in the sky with a magic wand...creating planets, people, animals, galaxies, everything we see today?

Isn't it pretty nutty to believe that some all mighty power nobody has ever proved exists, created a woman, from a mans rib, and dirt on the ground?

Isn't it pretty nutty to believe that this gods son, who also hasn't proved to exist, went around curing people of handicaps?

But it might also be pretty nutty to believe that all life as we know it came from slime on a rock.

It might also be pretty nutty to believe that humans evolved from apes.

The most logical position to take between atheism and religion is simply not knowing.
No one knows with absolute certainty.

There's nothing nutty about that.

What is nutty is the overwhelming desire in some to get everyone to believe their own religion.
You would have thought they would want to go earlier if life after death is so (*)(*)(*)(*)ing good.

The monks of Egos are classed as the healtheist humans alive, the head monk said a lot of things contribute, diet, hard out door work, prayer, no bank managers, no wives.

I can do without the prayer bollocks, and I dont owe anyone, but my wife is my life

We come from a long living family of atheists my dad died at 92yrs, my mum who is 92 yrs is sitting in the garden shelling beans after breaking her nose and jaw in two places three weeks ago.

So maybe if we get religion we might live to 120yrs as an average within our extended family.

Im just going to see my mum and have a chat with the fairies at the bottom of the garden, they live for ever on average
