I guess this is also a test on whether the war or national security is a key issue b/c liberals hate Lieberman for Iraq but side with him on everything while conservatives had Hagel but side with him on everything else.

I'd go with Lieberman even though I'd be losing some of my conservative principles, I trust him more and b/c I want to win in Iraq.

I also think Republicans would be more receptive to having Lieberman on a ticket than Dems to Hagel b/c they would hate his other views, while we already have a candidate who we disagree with a lot.

Probably third party...
But I guess Lieberman. At least I can trust him on SCOTUS appointees.

For what?

I'm not from either of their states, so... I won't be voting for either of them...

Outside of them being nominated for the VP I wouldn't be voting for them. If they were to be the VP running mates I would be voting for Obama or McCain. I would not pay much attention to the running mate.

Well that is not exactly true. In the case of McCain I would be more worried over the VP then him. In either case I would be voting for Obama.
