Of course...not! He used the intel that he had at the time, and he acted on it! He did the sane thing that was required by the Oath of Office: to protect and proserve the Constitution. He had intelligence from Israel, the CIA, MI6, and Russian Intelligence! Do these sound at least somewhat reliable? Four major nations all saying the same thing: that Saddam Hussein had WMDs or the capacity to produce them. Besides, I have hundreds of thousands of Kurdish reasons to remove the dictator, even if we could have done it in a more...prudent...way.

No, I think he led us into the war on false post-tenses. After all, we didn't know Saddam didn't have WMD until after the invasion.

If by "under false pretenses" you mean,
Ignored what they did not want to hear,
Selectively picked and choose the "intelligence" that best supported their wild claims,
knew before the war that there was very little reliable evidence of WMD's in Iraq in the first place,
and lied to the public about the cost in money, lives, and time, as well as the above facts then HELL YES.
