It should have been done long ago. The Democrats that would bring such a charge never had the votes. They have been outnumbered and so he goes unpunished for his crines. There will more than likely no charges filed. This is sad that justice will never see a courtroom.

Patiences is a virtue and it's not just partisan politics. I think some democrats might even shy away from voting for impeachment for a plethora of political reasons.

But while they are waiting it out, the USA is sinking and the people responsible are going to get away with what they have done to the USA.
Many reasonable people could see the Bush isn't the sole culprit in the current economic situation and someone with a more optimistic outlook might say that we aren't sinking at all, but merely experience a correction... all a matter of perspective i suppose.

Maybe it is time to call in the French to teach Americans what country first means and the concept of the French revolution as well as how to start a revolution, it always worked in France it should work in America too

I agree that Bush is not soley to blame for the current problems our country is facing. It's obvious those in his cabinet can lay claim much more than he. But at the end of the day, it was his decision. Therefore, he must take responsibilty. How do we expect anything to change in Washington if we don't hold anyone responsible?

We do hold people responsible. It's called voting.

Based on the outcome of the French in the two world wars. I for one will have to pass on taking advice from them.

Voting is not holding someone responsible for misuse of their powers. It's deciding we would like to go in another direction.

For heaven's sake, we impeached Clinton for lying about a blowjob.
I'm quoting myself here...to make sure that others see that I understand what Bill Clinton was impeached for.

Here is one reason I hold Bush accountable for not only the farce of the Iraq occupation (he should be impeaced for lying to get us there), but for the economy.

The War in Iraq Costs
$556,511,589,300
(this figure changes by 10s of 1000s every second)

Bush has burdened the next several generations with a deficeit that is unfathomnable in it's magnitude.

Because of Bush/Cheney Policy and direct action, taxpayers in California will pay $83.1 billion for total Iraq war spending approved to date.

For the same amount of money, the following could have been provided:
34,208,306 People with Health Care for One Year OR
148,087,070 Homes with Renewable Electricity for One Year OR
1,484,827 Public Safety Officers for One year OR
1,174,122 Music and Arts Teachers for One Year OR
12,490,710 Scholarships for University Students for One Year OR
248,783 Affordable Housing Units OR
31,068,375 Children with Health Care for One Year OR
9,941,768 Head Start Places for Children for One Year OR
1,193,726 Elementary School Teachers for One Year OR
1,049,740 Port Container Inspectors for One year

Considering that he is nearing the end of his term, I would have to say no and why would he have to be impeached anyway? Just because you do not like him isn't a very good reason. You must have a legitimate one.
