Default General George Patton

I don't really know why we bother discussing these conspiricy theories, but i guess it is just fun to think, what if... . o well heres mine.

General george patton was one of the most brilliant military minds on the face of the planet. He was also crazy, but genious and insanity share a very thin line. It has been said that stalin/russia had planned and carried out the assasination of patton. They were afraid that of him. The russians were really the only ones who realized the military threat patton posed if left in charge. and if the soviet union was to make any kind of move against the US they wanted to make sure that the US didn't have patton to fire back with. Plus on top of all that patton didn't care for russians much more that he carred for germans.

So the russians set up this car crash and heart attack situation to kill patton. They succeded, and there were very few questions asked about the whole thing. I think that had this been taken more seriously at the time then the world would be a little different right now. What are some of yalls arguments for or against the conspiracy around patton.

There was a conspiracy, yes, but it was the Americans, not the Russians, who offed him.

Because the top brass viewed him as a loose cannon. In short, not only did Patton not trust the Russians (and rightfully so), but he also didn't have the common sense to shut up about it while we still needed them as our Allies.

Default Hmm...

It's possible! Thank you for sharing this...I agree with his criticism of the Russians though.
