This assertion can be verified; the Social Security Administration maintains on microfilm a copy of all original SS-5 applications and their appropriate numbers. Daniels has been denied access to those records.

there has been no change or release of records or verification or confirmation by the government that i've heard of.

it's kind of like the online birth certificate. it's virtual enough to prove it's genuine.... it's just not virtual enough to prove it's fake. it's been enhanced, but not altered. it's real, but it's not concrete. one copy is even high resolution. very clever. i would bet my bottom dollar that there will be more evidence come along that will objectify mr. obama.

I haven’t seen a social-security card for George Washington, but if one surfaced we can be sure that it’s a fake. There was no Social Security Administration in his time, and from that we may conclude that the Framers of the US Constitution did not have a requirement for a valid social-security number in mind when they wrote the Article II language on presidential eligibility.

Nevertheless, Ohio private investigator Susan Daniels filed suit in Ohio arguing that Barack Obama should be barred from the November presidential ballot because, she alleges, Obama used a fraudulent SSN.

Judge David L. Fuhry dismissed Daniels’ lawsuit, saying that the Ohio legislature never intended that the Secretary of State investigate candidate eligibility and indeed has a ministerial duty to put whoever the national political conventions nominate on the ballot. The social security issue is irrelevant.

Can you show me where in the Constitution it states the President must have a valid Social Security number?

I mean, I'll address the stupidity of claiming this about the President in due time, but, for now, can you even show why it is necessary?
