While the spiders are harmless to humans, Mr Milledge says the brown army could start turning on each other if the floodwaters do not recede and allow them to disperse.

That's far worse than the banana spiders in Korea...

Wow, wouldn't want to walk through those fields with shorts on...harmless or not, spiders creep the heck out of me.

Although technically not an arachnid, camel spiders are fairly common in the Middle East and I've personally witnessed one of them snap a #2 pencil in half with it's pincers...now that is a bad ass spider, but it's the small venomous ones that really creep me out.

You'd have to torch the whole lot really. No wonder they have forest fires. Who could resist?

Or spray it with a jet spray.

It's not like these little guys are running you down and attacking you..I'm not afraid of anything I can see, including spiders..and snakes..

And spiders are actually very useful because they keep the harmful bugs down. So really, I don't know where our hate comes from against them. I guess it is like hating black people, Gypsies, and republicans.
