You need to stick with the film and not go off topic. If you make your reviews 30 minutes, no one will watch them.

Is something in this movie that it isn't revealed in the trailer ?

EVERYTHING! You have no idea what's going to happen. THe trailers shows nothing really. If you know the Alien films you will be surprised beyond your dreams. it's the best film since 2005's Revenge of the Sith.

I don't know if that is a good thing. I have seen Ben Affleck movies that were better than Revenge of the Sith.

ROTS was a Sci-Fi Classic TFM.

    I beg to differ.

It was another in a long line of poor movies, or marketing machines, put forth by George Lucas to sell plastic pieces of crap. The movies he directed, except for American Graffiti, have been filled with over acting, bad dialog, and a seemingly incessant need to have characters lives miraculously intertwine over the course of decades in a fashion that puts silliness ahead of logic. There is no suspension of disbelief in Lucas movies. They are poorly written and wholly improbably characters stuck in a 2 hour long commercial.

In my wise opinion, of course. Now when he is not massacring movies through his direction, his producing has turned out some masterpieces, such as Raiders.

Maybe you could write out an outline of the key points that you want to hit on your review and do a couple of practice videos to see if it's what you had in mind.

As for my review, I can keep it down to well under 30 minutes:

    Generally good

    Visually interesting

Created more questions than it answered. Expect to leave the theater a bit frustrated.

So I've heard. Is it a prequel or not (JediMiller may have covered this, but I didn't watch)? I may go see it within the next week, but every movie time I can make is 3D. Worth it or no? Never done the 3D thing.

It is a prequel, but some of what is presented in the movie doesn't quite track with Alien, so it looks like they intended to crank out a few more movies on this premise to tie everything together. I can't really go into some of the questions it brings up (spoilers) but a lot of things apparently have to happen to get to where we first picked up during the Alien movie.

Haven't seen it, don't know if I will, but I never allow libs to make my movie decisions.
