I've begun a new quest, To map my decedents back to Scotland, And in the process my link to the American revolution.

I know where I'm going, I just need to get there. Lots of paperwork, and documentation. My mom will be able to help with much of it, since she has been doing the genealogy thing for a long time, and can get many of the documents needed.

Have any of you here every done/attempted this?
