Default Mexican Elites Advocate 'Invasion' of U.S.

Mexican Elites Advocate 'Invasion' of U.S.

http://www.vdare.com/awall/mexican_reconquistas.htm

The "Primer Foro de Reflexión Binacional," a conference organized by Mexico’s Senate and something ominously called the Mexican and American Solidarity Foundation (Fundación Solidaridad Mexicano Americana), was held recently (April 28-29) at the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Mexico City.

The theme: "Los Mexicanos de Aquí y de Allá"- ¿Perspectivas Comunes?" (“The Mexicans Here [in Mexico] and There [in the United States]—Common Perspectives?”).

It was billed as a "forum.” But that's a little misleading if by forum you mean an exchange of diverse ideas. The speakers and panelists at this "forum" were all on the same sheet of music.

The ideas presented at the "forum" were few and repetitious:

Mexicans are treated badly in the United States.

Mexican emigration to the United States should increase.

Everybody of Mexican ancestry is a Mexican.

Hispanics are a growing electoral force in the United States and had better have their way. (Unstated corollary: Americans don't have a say in the matter).

Not that Americans weren't present at the "forum.” There were a number, including Henry Cisneros, hate-monger Jose Angel Gutierrez, MALDEF lawyer Katherine Culliton, and open-borders zealot Frank Sharry. All were invited to speak to those assembled at the get-together.

In other words, American citizens actively collaborated with the Mexican elite and its hegemonic ambitions for the United States of America.

Default Something to think about

I agree that this forum sounded pretty one-sided. But I would suggest you read "Reefer Madness" by Eric Schlosser. (ISBN: 0618334661) This will give you some insight into the exploitation of the Mexican immigrant worker in the U.S. and why they want a voice. Enjoy your cheap strawberries.

Default hold on

my strawberries are not cheap and their cost in services{medical for instance} that come out of my tax pocket off set any supposed benefit. They are in fact a net drain.

Besides, the point is the invasion. They have no voice if they are not citizens and if they agree to be exploited thats not my fault.

Default Ridiculous

It is very sad to see this happening and American politicians doing NOTHING about it. Tom Tancredo, the courageous man he is, is going it alone in Congress to fight this madness.
