In the U.K i've heard thier thinking of changing the age of leagally driving from 17 years old to 21.
By doing this they believe they can decrease the traffic and minimize car accidents. What do you think of this? I believe there will still be large ammount of accidents because elderly people are still driving and can be the worst drivers and are still able to drive. What laws do you think should be brought out about driving?

Age has little to do with driving skills. I know excellent drivers who are 16 and I know horrible drivers who are in their 20's. It really depends more on how well they learned in driving school. But then again no car, no driving lessons for me. I have enough friends who have cars on the other hand.
I still can't believe my 83 year old grandfather has a valid driving license! |

I Agree
Ive also heard in some countrys like spain after a certain age say for example 60 years old the person has to redo thier drivind license every year. Does anyone know if this is true? and do you agree with it?

Living in America with our driving laws, this is my two cents:
1.) Legal driving age 21, legal drinking age 16 2.) Driving Permit at 16, Junior licence at 18 (Can't drive Before sun-up or after sundown) 3.) Mandatory 1 semester high school class that covers the rules of the raod. It amazes me how many people don't even understand right of way. 4.) After age 40, bi-yearly eye examinations to get your licensce renewed. 5.) After age 65, bi-yearly driving performance evaluations to get your licensce renewed. Just my two cents The |
