What is this section and who is posting here?

A forum robot grabs updates from these blogs multiple times a day and posts each entry here as a new thread. Each blog's entries are posted under a different username to help you choose which posts to read.

Feedback and suggestions for this new section are welcome, please reply here. Currently I'm considering deleting threads which get a low rating and/or which get no replies after a certain amount of time. AND/OR posts which do generate discussion could be moved into the appropriate section of the forum.

How were the blogs selected?

I searched for political blogs that were not too specialized which offered a full text feed. I am attempting to add blogs of all sorts, but have not found that many to choose from.

Can I add my blog here or suggest a blog?

Yes, please PM me if you have one to suggest. It needs to offer a full text feed and not be too specialized. Also some types of feeds just aren't working properly in this system, unfortunately. The blog does NOT need to be solely about politics, as I can do some basic filtering to try to capture only the political themed posts.

Removal of a blog?

The blog owner can request removal, and we will also consider removing a blog if nobody is wanting it here / most want it gone.

Specific posts that suck...

Some of the images don't show up, so some of the posts kind of suck, when the image isn't actually displayed (it's still linked). Moderators are free to delete posts which have less value. Sometimes the blog's post is more like an advertisement or contains too much ad compared to the amount of content. Overall this should not happen too much, but perhaps 5-10% of the time. Also moderators are welcome to edit posts to fix broken images / add them, etc.

Is this a robot that is posting in this section? Grabing posts in other blogs and posting them here?

I reported the post as a cut and paste, unoriginal work. It was confusing.

Yes, it's automated. The robot usernames are named (Something)Blog. Real users can reply though.
