Default Fred Thompson Officially Makes Me Sick [TheDemoMemo]

When Fred Thompson was asked recently by a reporter what his favorite possession was, he said, "trophy wife." I am not kidding.
On the trail in South Carolina, he was quoted as saying,
“I’ve been criticized for not being et up with ambition,” Mr. Thompson says, biting his lip and peering into the crowd with that hooded stare. Then he shrugs. “I plead guilty to that.”
I did not know that "et up" was truly a phrase that people use these days...I haven't really heard it since I stopped watching The Beverly Hillbillies reruns in 1979.
The scariest thing to me is Fred being compared to Ronald Reagan. If you republicans want another president who's a little light on thinking, perhaps getting Bush elected again would be a better strategy.
