Obama
completed the weekend sweep, prevailing in Maine today with 59 percent of the vote. CBS is
now reporting that Obama has taken the delegate lead. Obama even won a
freaking Grammy today, beating out Bill Clinton in the spoken word category. Earlier in the day he had an
amazing rally in Alexandria, VA, which I was lucky enough to attend.
Not to be outdone, Senator Clinton's campaign manager stepped down and Senator McCain picked up the
coveted endorsement of Mr. 30% himself.
The Writer's strike
could be over as soon as Tuesday, with some calling it "the best deal the Guild has bargained for in 30 years."
The Nobel Peace Prize-winning President of East Timor Jose Ramos-Horta was wounded in an attack on his home today in Dili. He is in stable condition.
Huckabee is
contesting Saturday's results in Washington State, which
appears to have one of the least democratic systems in the country on the Republican side.
Patriotboy
has some fun at the expense of Ron Paul supporters. Those guys sure are packing heat.
