Obama completed the weekend sweep, prevailing in Maine today with 59 percent of the vote. CBS is now reporting that Obama has taken the delegate lead. Obama even won a freaking Grammy today, beating out Bill Clinton in the spoken word category. Earlier in the day he had an amazing rally in Alexandria, VA, which I was lucky enough to attend.
Not to be outdone, Senator Clinton's campaign manager stepped down and Senator McCain picked up the coveted endorsement of Mr. 30% himself.
The Writer's strike could be over as soon as Tuesday, with some calling it "the best deal the Guild has bargained for in 30 years."
The Nobel Peace Prize-winning President of East Timor Jose Ramos-Horta was wounded in an attack on his home today in Dili. He is in stable condition.
