As more and more media and blog attention is turned to the problem of super delegates, we want to know what you think. But first, last week's results:
Last week we asked you what your most trusted source of news was. Not surprisingly, online sources got over 80% of the vote, with 52% saying they got their news from social news sites like Digg or my personal favorite, Reddit, and 32% saying they got their news from online news outlets like NYTimes.com. Only 2% got their news from broadcast sources (TV and Radio) and only 5% got their news from print media. Clearly, online news is the preferred medium among Seminal readers, myself among them.
This week, with a brokered convention on the Democratic side a distinct possibility, a lot of attention has been turned to super delegates. Chris Bowers from Open Left has even started a wiki
to keep track of how super delegates are planning on voting. If the primary does go all the way to the convention, you can be sure that we're in for a real mess. So, if you were in charge, how would you change the super delegate system, if at all? Voting begins in the sidebar on the left.
