So sad, yet so true. The maverick "straight talkin' Johnny McCain" doesn't always talk so straight. But have no fear, this cowboy ain't all hat and no cattle. His crooked talking moments get balanced out by moments when he speaks straight as an Apache arrow.
Some examples to clarify:

At a time when the U.S. desperately needs to repair its relations abroad, as well as convince its own citizens that their government gives a (*)(*)(*)(*) about them, McCain's brand of "straight talk" is bound to do more harm than good.
Please straight talkin' Johnny, just ride off into the sunset already.
