Default Someone Else’s Fault

It’s always someone else’s fault. Sound familiar? It should. Pointing fingers and making false statements have been the American way of life for the past 7 plus years. And now, enter the Clinton campaign. Supporters and staff blame everyone under the sun for Clinton’s losses. Maybe the campaign should take some responsibility and consider the real reasons for Hillary Clinton’s decline. Mark Penn, for one, has continually taken Clinton down the wrong path, and told everyone that Hillary was the inevitable democratic nominee, months before the first caucus and primary took place. Maybe they should look at the behavior of Bill Clinton who soured many African -Americans. Bill’s constant missteps have made others wonder what the heck he is doing, or maybe, Hillary needs to send him home.
Hillary has constantly stated that she is the most experienced candidate. However, she, Mark Penn or maybe even Bill made the decision not to publish her First Lady papers. Are they blank? Are they chock full of the experience and knowledge that she claims? We’ll never know, because Hillary Clinton’s First Lady papers remain as much a mystery as Nixon’s 18 minute tape of dead air.
In recent weeks, Clinton supporters and staffers have protested major newspapers and television stations endorsements. They have now decided to go after the New York Times, who published a Political Memo; Somber Clinton Soldiers On as the Horizon Darkens by Patrick Healy, which “suggests her campaign is not only deteriorating, but that she is foreshadowing her exit through valedictory statements.”
Huffington Post
“Armed with hundreds of signatures from campaign staffers and volunteers, the campaign attempted to respond with a letter to the editor in the Times, but says it was rejected on the grounds that they hold “valuable space” for “ordinary readers.” A Clinton aide pointed out that “This letter is a mere 218 words, and signed by 503 people - thirty three times as many people as the story cites, and all of them by name.” Clinton staffers and volunteers also submitted individual letters, which the Times has yet to accept.”
I remember a guy named John Edwards, who couldn’t get the same media coverage that Clinton or Obama got. Edwards was vocal about the lack of coverage, but he never blamed the media for his decision to withdraw. However, for the Clinton campaign, it’s the media’s fault
TMP:
New Camp Hillary Claim: The Media Want Her To Lose
  • In recent days, the Hillary campaign has audibly turned up the volume of its attacks not just on Barack Obama, but on the news media, too.
  • The sight of Hillary advisers attacking the press is suddenly everywhere — and there’s been a shift in the tone of the attacks that is striking. The suggestion is no longer merely that the coverage of Hillary is unfair and that the treatment of Obama is glowing, something that Hillaryland insiders have complained of for a long time.
  • Rather, the new suggestion is that the press is reveling in Hillary’s downfall, and that this lust to see Hillary lose is driving coverage.
  • Such complaints, whatever their validity, run the risk of making Hillaryland look frustrated and in search of a scapegoat, something that spooks supporters and donors, the adviser who spoke to me lamented.
So, there you have it … it’s all your fault.
