Quinnipiac University has some
new numbers:
Illinois Sen. Barack Obama, surging among younger voters, has cut Sen. Hillary Clinton's lead among Pennsylvania likely Democratic primary voters to 6 points, 49 - 43 percent, after trailing by 16 points just two weeks ago, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released today.
The Trail has
context:
Two weeks ago, Clinton led Obama in Pennsylvania among likely Democratic voters under 45 and among white men; in the new poll, Obama is up 17 points among younger voters and he all but erased Clinton's advantage with white men. While Clinton retains the edge among non-college voters, her margin among those voters was more than halved from the earlier poll.
This thing is all but over. I sincerely hope that Senator Clinton has the wisdom to exit the race after March 4th. Both for her sake, and the sake of the party.
