Hillary is completing her most important push in Texas and Ohio. These two states could not be more different, but Hillary holds distinct advantages over Barack Obama in Ohio.
Hillary's simple and powerful economic solutions for the looming recession ring true with the so-called "lunch-bucket" Ohio democrats. Ohio democrats are traditionally not overly impressed by rhetoric and therefore will be drawn to her message. Ohio has been hit hard by the loss of manufacturing jobs and are hungry for a solution to those problems. Hillary really has some meaty solutions to a lot of those problems,
including modifing NAFTA, a signature program of her husband's adminstration.
Hillary's "east coast" advantage that she seems to enjoy in states near her New York senate district will bode well for her Rhode Island chances.
Texas is a whole 'nuther animal altogether. Hillary's original Hispanic base may be slipping away from her. Even though
she has ties to the state, Obama has more money and boots on the ground in this crucial state.
