Default McCain Tackles Health Care [ElephantBiz]

As the Democrats bicker amongst themselves, John McCain is turning to tackling a major issue facing the United States: Health care.

Yesterday, he launched his "Call to Action Tour" which will take him to five states where he will sell his idea. This morning, he delivered remarks in Florida that outlined his proposal. He also sent summarized talking points to his surrogates on Capitol Hill and launched a new ad that will precede him in the states he will visit:

The rising costs of health care is a major problem facing the United States today. And for the longest time it has been a Democratic issue. Over the last 40 years Democrats have promised they would reform the system in election after election; only to fail to live up to their promises.

his "plan" is laughably lacking
the only thing he would do that is not present today is allow plans to cross state lines
there is nothing to assure affordability ... a huge factor to someone making a limited income
and there is nothing there to require coverage for those who have pre-existing health issues. they will continue to be priced out of health coverage should they be given the opportunity to purchase it at a high price. that is what we face today
his "solution", his "plan", is to study that issue
that he would even put his name on that plan and tote it around the nation trying to sell it documents that this mKKKain fellow is an imbecile ... and we already have a family of those occupying the white house

I believe this would help lower my insurance in Maine as New Hampshire has lower rates
