Why not? I mean, as long as you're paying your taxes and Social Security like everyone else.

Maybe some of them like sex. Maybe some of them think they should be paid for something they're good at.

Nye County (Pahrump) and Lyon I believe, the latter might be a different name but it's located east of Carson City. And to answer your question about prostitutes not getting unemployment, because there should be nothing to encourage the job. There should be disincentive, especially knowing that in that job by the time she hits 40 her earning potential will be near zero.

Hey! I resemble that remark! But wouldn't you think by the time she's 40, a woman would be experienced enough to both: (a) know how to please a man and (b) teach a young boy how to please a woman? For that matter, she'd also be experienced enough to both: (c) know how to please a woman and (d) teach a young girl how to please a woman.

I voted "Leave it up to the States"... which is what we already do, isn't it? Personally I believe that, as with drugs, making prostitution illegal does nothing to stop it from happening and only makes the problem worse by causing so many other bad elements to become associated with it. Legalizing it would make it safer both for the prostitutes themselves and for their clients, and could also help reduce the spread of disease. It would also be a blow to human traffickers, whom I consider among the lowest scum of the Earth. With safe, legal alternatives available there would be no reason for people to do business with these swine.
