Just a few observations, prostitution is already legal in the US, in the great state of Nevada. Weed is practically legal in many states and prescribed in others. Alcohol, while legal, has caused more harm and family destruction then either.

Alcohol has only caused destruction when used as unrecommended.

I can understand people prostituting, but I do not wish to be one. Nor do I look down on most prostitutes for doing it just to survive.

Another point we can bring up in this thread is to declare our affiliation and if we have ever used a prostitute.

Myself no, but there were times I was lonely and willing.

I don't think I'll ever become a prostitute. But who am I to say that others cannot do so if they choose? I have neither sisters nor daughters, and I'm sure that if I did have sisters or daughters, I'd probably encourage them to seek remunerative employment that uses their minds. But then, if I did have sisters and daughters, their career decisions would be up to them, regardless of any advice I might impart.

you have the right to prostitute yourself if you want. it has worked well in nevada.

who does prostitution hurt? The government really should stop mandating morality and stay out of the bedroom.

Would I want my daughters becoming prostitutes? Of course not. But I don't want them becoming welders either, and last I checked, welding was still legal.
