If people in the military want prostitutes, let them use their own money. I'd rather pay for soldiers to have armor and psychiatric help than this crap. On top of that, doing so would help to maintain the attitude of yesteryear when some soldiers would take it as their right to rape the women of the places they were targetting. There was a culture of accepting this behavior as tolerable because the soldiers were sex-starved and under nasty circumstances. Self-control is a better thing for a soldier to have. Using ones own money for vice increases self-control. Jesus, if we expect it from the poor, why don't we expect it from soldiers?

Well, sure, the soldiers would pay for it out of their own paychecks and the government would make a profit on the deal.

Its not the govenment's responsibility; the military should provide their own, in the time-honoured tradition.

The invaded and conquered civilian population is their brothel...for the love of God, read Tacitus!
