Default Bush: Worst President Ever?

Yup. Even worse than Buchanan.
1. Launched a war against a country that posed no threat to the USA
2. Turned record budget surpluses into record deficits
3. Enshrined torture as official policy of the USA forfeiting remaining vestiges of USA prestige.
4. Bungled reaction to enormous natural disaster (Katrina)

Default Not quite the worst

Clinton sold secrets to China
Clinton sold pardons
Clinton sold Whitehouse decor
Carter couldn't handle Iran
Carter let the economy sink to the point of massive home loss and massive interest rate hikes
Carter made the energy crisis today look like a bump in the road

We get it! You don't like George Bush. When will your belly aching end?

Default Nah

I'd say Herbert Hoover was worse. My father doesn't like Bush, and was disappointed that I didn't go with the 3rd party, instead of voting for him the first time (second time, I wised up). But even he believes that Hoover was much worse than Duh-bya Bush.

We judge Presidents (and others) based on our thoughts and our times. It's hard to say "the best" or "the worst" EVER. Our perspectives are skewed to the recent... what we're familiar with.

I have no use for Bush, but I don't think he's the worst ever.

Since you brought up pardons, here's a question for you; If Scooter Libby is found guilty and is forced to serve time, will you be supportive of President Bush if he decides to pardon Libby?

I've heard that from old timers too, that is that Herbert Hoover was the worse president.

I assume you mean Woodrow Wilson. The League of Nations was a valiant attempt, but no, it didn't work out as many planned. But I've never heard Woodrow Wilson proclaimed as the worst President, even under purely subjective measures. What he set in motion led to the United Nations. We can argue about how effective the UN is now, but its existence likely averted a third world war after WWII.

Andrew Jackson, on the other hand, might make some people's list.

sorry im talking about woodrow willson, and actually the attempt to creat the leage of nations was good, but i was mostly talking about how they way germany and other countries were splitted after ww1 and made many germans and others very angry and pissed on their softy goverment.......willson should have been fair to the germans, because the way he let france revenge her enemy germany led to ww2 and the holocaust.
