But I'll say Barney Frank. My second choice would be Babs Feinstein as an extreme liberal.
On the conservative side, on fiscal, as well as some social issues, I'll say my man, John Warner. Just enough neocon traits to keep the other reindeer inviting him to the games, but he's a basically level-headed, traditionalist conservative guy.

Barney Frank would definitely be in the running among the liberals. John Warner appears to be rather moderate from this description of him:

Except for being married to Liz Taylor, he's always seemed pretty sane. Compared to Warner, I'm not sure how to classify George Allen. They're not too far apart AFAIK. IMO, both of our guys represent this state's beliefs pretty well.
For a real out there conservative, you'll probably have to look deeper in the south.

After looking him up, I see Bernie Sanders might be a bit more liberal than Barney Frank. Frank is rather extreme, but he seems even more extreme than he really is because of his explosive temper. Bill O'Reilly wins debates against him using the same tactics that Al Franken uses against O'Reilly. To find the most conservative member of Congress, I gave consistently right-wing answers to the VoteMatch quiz and looked at who matched those views most closely. The most conservative person in Congress might be Wally Herger:
