Since when are the Republicans libertarian?

Drugs, Military, Gay Marriage, Abortion, Privacy, FCC Decency, and the list goes on...

In 2002, Ed Thompson (Tommy Thompson's brother) recieved 10+% of the vote for governor in Wisconsin. He ran as a Libertarian. I almost voted for him...

there are plenty of Libertarians who would rather vote GOP than Democrat.

Thats the most obvious thing ever HAns. What he meant was why do you have GOP avatar when you can have a libertarian one.

A lot of Democrats are socialists at heart (like Ted Kennedy for example). It is the reverse with me. I am a libertarian at heart but for the most part I vote Republican.

and yes I USUALLy vote Republican, though I will admit to having voted for our tubby Cohiba-wielding Arkansan
