Are you suggesting something congruent to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, only inm charity form? I suppose that wouldn't be so bad. It would be difficult to figure out though.

Arguing that private corporations (large ones anyway) are less buerucratic is nonsense.
There as a big and slow as public ones save that we as citizens lose any say in the process.

I wouldn't make government welfare corporate. I know the problems with corporations. I would turn government welfare into an non-profit organization solely dependent on donations rather than investment.

The money would initially come from taxation. Then the whole agency would be privatized and would get its money solely from voluntary donations. I think that seniors who are in need of welfare would receive it more efficiently in a private system, moreover.

Taxation isn't meeting the needs of the poor. I was a good friend of a beggar who died last September and I met many other beggars, so I should know.
