So far I've supported Crats for the most part, primarily because of my disgust with the Pubs. But these days they both make me sick. I also like both the Greens and the Libertarians, but for different reasons. Though I think the Greens get too caught u[ in dumb regulations, so I lean toward the Libertarians. I'd actually like to see a more libertarian liberal party. I'm getting disgusted with party loyalty and think I'll do my voting candidate by candidate and office by office.

Unfortunately, the Republicans and the Democrats are the only parties with a realistic chance of winning right now.

Which is why most parties are a coalition of different ideologies or different ranges of one ideology. You don't like it join a party and change the platform from the inside out, thats what the conservatives did.

Where have all the Conservatives Gone?

Well, a few days ago I thought of a way of paying off the national debt without hurting the poor (even in the short term), but as raytri pointed out, I'd have a hard time selling it.

I think that people focus too much on trying to find out which party their in, when they should really just think about issues they care about, and form their own opinions and decisions about them.

Default I dont see it...

I dont see the great rush of political parties scrambling to join up with me in my way of thinking...and so, they are lost!

The party-affiliated herds of voters, drifting over the Serengheti of 'the system' - well, they are quite easy pickings, are they not? Pardon me for not joining in with them all...another dim democratic-wildebeest, startled anew, and for the thousandth time, at having been had...again...

It's the Democrats for me. But then, I'm pretty liberal.
