What percent of Medicare spending is on people who also receive Social Security disability payments? It is a simple question, but only an expert on government aid programs would know the answer, and I am not one. I appreciate all replies. Thank you very much.

Great point. I see your view of this, and I agree with it. Somehow, some way Medicare has to be reformed for the benefits of all not some. We need to stop relying on the basis of all for some and start working towards some for all. But I do not know any way at this moment which Medicare could work better. Any suggestions?

Actually, I wasn't making a point. I was asking a question. I'm trying to come up with a plan to cut government spending without taking money from those who are in desperate need.

Okay, well, I have talked to a young man before who believed that federal healthcare and Medicare could be paid by putting a 75 percent tax on exports of US entertainment (i.e. music and movies). It seems like a great stretch, and it could cause a lot of trouble, but it could work if planned out well enough.

Besides, how much money do actors and singers need? I say, let's start paying those who cure pains and protect us instead of those who pretend to or sing about it.
